Meet Our Founder, Becky!
Becky has always had a deep desire to help others, which led her to pursue a career in social work. However, when her son’s skin needs and her partner’s skin health became her main focus, Becky knew she had to take action. Motivated by a need to provide relief, she began formulating 100% natural, plant-based skincare solutions from her kitchen to support their healing.
Becky’s passion for helping others on a similar journey led her to create Skintact. Now, she is committed to providing natural, nurturing skincare solutions for those in need.
Our Story
Skintact's journey began in January 2024, in our founder Becky's kitchen. At the time, her son and partner were both experiencing painful, widespread rashes that made everyday life a struggle. Her partner had relief on presctiption steroid creams for over 15 years, and her young son had used them for just one year - but even in that short time, the damage was undeniable. Their skin became increasingly sensitive, reactive, and inflamed, leading to Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) - a condition that left them desperate for relief.
Determined to find a better way, Becky began creating gentle, plant-based formulations using 100% natural and organic ingredients. These were the only products their skin could tolerate - no burning, no stinging, just calming relief. She never imagined they would work so well at helping restore and heal the skin - but they did. And they've never looked back.
Skintact was born from this personal journey, to support others navigating sensisitve skin, Eczema, Psoriasis, and TSW, with skincare rooted in nature and love.
